A visual showcase of my research work, fieldwork experiences, academic presentations, and professional collaborations in urban planning and geospatial analysis.
As an Assistant Urban Planner at Sheltech (Pvt.) Ltd. under the UTMIDP initiative, I contributed to comprehensive urban and transport planning studies aimed at enhancing sustainable mobility, land-use integration, and infrastructure management in rapidly urbanizing areas. My role combined spatial analysis, GIS-based planning, and policy assessment to support data-driven decision-making for resilient and inclusive urban development. I collaborated closely with senior planners, transport engineers, and local stakeholders to develop spatial datasets, analyze urban growth patterns, and prepare thematic maps and planning reports aligned with national development objectives.
Team Management: Led a team of 10 GIS analysts for comprehensive GIS database preparation of upazila master plan, coordinating with consultants and clients throughout database presentation and plan development phases.
Field Supervision: Conducted extensive field-based surveys including infrastructure assessment, socioeconomic analysis, and transportation studies as Community Mobilization Officer in UTMIDP/Fakirhat Upazila Masterplan Preparation Project.
Project Deliverables: Served as In-Charge for finalizing comprehensive database, conducting survey analysis, writing detailed planning reports, and creating planning analysis maps for Fakirhat Upazila, Bagerhat.
Research Work: Urban potential zone analysis, land-use prediction, network analysis for survey facility and conduct spatial and statistical analysis using GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) to identify transport corridors, land-use conflicts, and urban growth trends.
I'm actively seeking opportunities for doctoral studies, research collaborations, and academic partnerships in urban planning, geospatial analysis, and climate change adaptation.
Whether you're interested in joint research projects, supervision opportunities, or collaborative publications, I'd love to discuss how we can work together to address pressing urban and environmental challenges.
